Workshops

Thanks for your interest in MARS workshops!

Upcoming Workshops:
Microbiome and Community analysis – from sequences to figures, Dec 17-20, 2019. In 4 days we will go through raw sequence qc, clustering into OTUs, and assigning taxonomy in mothur on the UConn HPC (high performance computer aka cluster server). Then we’ll move into data visualization and statistical analysis in R. NO prior command line experience is expected! Workshop limited to 15 participants. This workshop is $500 for UConn/UCH and $675 for non-UConn participants.

Additionally, I am teaching a one day Carpentries workshop Dec 16 talking about data management which is critical for microbiome projects. You’ll learn OpenRefine and SQL. And since it is a Carpentries workshop it’s only $15 for the day! Registration for that workshop is separate, click here.
